The Danish government's plan to recreate the entire country in the hit computer game Minecraft has been hit by attacks from hackers.

Officials confirmed that large cities -including Copenhagen - had been damaged after users found a way to smuggle virtual dynamite, supposedly banned, into the Danish area of the Minecraft world.

The Danish government is being forced to rebuild parts of the city.
