We’ve come across a Reddit post in which users discuss a hack part of Anonymous’ Operation Blitzkrieg, an op aimed at extremists. This time the target was the Aryan Front (aryan-front.com), a discussion forum with over 1,400 users.

As a result of the breach, the hackers have not only posted the classic “you should have expected us” message, but they’ve also deleted all the posts made by the forum’s users.

While many have applauded this particular breach, others have rushed to point out that in reality the phpBB dates from 2002 and the template the site used was around 8 years old.

Hacktivists have attacked a large number of websites that they accused of being run by Nazis. However, as we learned in April, the members of these groups promised to retaliate, and some even offered rewards for the identities of Anonymous hackers.

Hacking and deleting posts. Sad.

Even though hacking isn't the way forward, I applaud the cause of it.

I thinks it's bad because you could have a forum that has like 100.000 posts and then you get these stupid people that come and delete the posts. I also applaud because of the cause.

And that's why they create backups.

Yes, if a big forum like that doesn't create backups then they had it coming.

In my opinion not spending a few days to update and upgrade their site is asking for trouble.

Update: the account has been suspended by the host.
