Anyone who is using Proton for mail, VPN and storage and hopes for privacy and anonymity look elsewhere.

What matters to me are the <strong>facts</strong>, and the <strong>actual practices reflected in their systems and terms of service</strong>.</p><p></p><p></p><p>They could support <strong>Putin</strong> or <strong>Zelenskyy</strong> for all I care—<strong>as long as the software or product delivers what it promises</strong>, that's what ultimately counts for me.</p><p></p><p></p><p>That said, I have to admit—<strong>as a German myself</strong>—I find it increasingly difficult to trust companies or decisions made in Germany. Especially when <strong>people are quickly “voted out” or canceled simply for expressing sympathy toward a political party</strong>.</p><p></p><p></p><p>Right now, it feels like <strong>Germany is being run by liars and frauds</strong>. Sure, <strong>Trump’s actions aren’t right</strong>, and <strong>Putin’s certainly aren’t always either</strong>, but there's always <strong>another side to the story</strong>.
