This configuration peaked my interest as it's the only one that I've come across that depends solely on VoodooShield Pro and doesn't have an antivirus solution.
I'd like to hear you experiences with running this type of setup.

I’ve nothing but positive things to say about the setup. With VoodooShield being a default-deny solution it obviously outweighs the effective protection of your typical antivirus, and the impact on system performance is virtually imperceptible to me.

With that said I wouldn’t actively promote a solely default-deny setup as it completely shifts the responsibility of protection onto the user and their decision on whether to allow something to run is the deciding factor between a clean and infected system.
