RE: Ashampoo Anti-Virus 2014 and Old Version Test

Hi there a very basic scan test I have done today comparing old with new versions Tests were all completed within 1 hour and all AV's were updated

I do stipulate this was just a straight forward on demand scan

Old Using IKARUS engine
New Using Bitdefender and Emsisoft
Samples taken from within the last 7 or so days from the virus exchange


Malware samples taken from over the last Week prior to 27-09-2013

New Ashampoo Antimalware Bitdefender plus Emsisoft Antimalware on demand scan

Samples amounts on left

96 detected 79
118 detected 115
157 detected 141
300 detected 282
734 detected 534

1405 totals detected 1151

Old Ashampoo Antimalware Using IKARUS
samples

96 detected 76
118 detected 114
157 detected 152
300 detected 266
734 detected 571

1405 totals detected 1179

New Ashampoo had detection bug on large sample set of 734 and failed to display quaraintine neumerous times producing error message and had to manually delete quarintine from within its file location instead of using the built in empty quarintine function
I do have sceen capture of the error which I may submit to the company

Where did the information?

I just noticed Ikarus and Emsisoft detection names in Ashampoo AM.

Detects malware and other intruders but does not remove or delete the PC.
A Flop.

What would you say the detection rate is on average? And how is Ashampoo Anti-Virus 2014 cleaning ability of Malware/Adware/Spyware? And are there any problem's with Ashampoo Anti-Virus 2014?
