Ashampoo® Virus Quickscan FREE is free for any use. Please note that Ashampoo® Virus Quickscan FREE performs a very fast scan and may therefore not give complete information on whether the PC is possibly infected in system areas outside the scanned. Ashampoo® Virus Quickscan FREE can remove a limited number of infections, but cannot provide long term protection of your PC. With the start of a scan, you agree that anonymous information about your system status is transmitted to the Ashampoo webservers. This is the only technical way possible to do a full cloud based scan of all active processes.

Just finished the scan....Very fast on the scan..around 2-3 minutes , I wonder what do they scan if we take into account the notification :
Code:
Please note that Ashampoo® Virus Quickscan FREE performs a very fast scan and may therefore not give complete information on whether the PC is possibly infected in system areas outside the scanned.
Are they scan only the running processes or Win32?
Code:
Ashampoo® Virus Quickscan FREE can remove a limited number of infections
And what does mean "can remove a limited number of infections" .... ???

It's using the Bitdefender engine right?
[attachment=602]
BTW After you've finished the scan and it didn't find any infection you have two : 1. "Clean/Protect" or "Exit" (which will redirect you to install their suite).....or 2. "Exit". and this is what you see after you click "Exit".
[attachment=603]
The default choice is "Continue with Deep scan and cleaning".... can you say "build" for advertise....no concern for the users?
BTW MBAM is free,solid, no advertise or unwanted screens and a quick scan will find and remove 99,9% of the active malware..so why should we use Ashampoo?
