If we have to trust these labs results,they will make us think ,that ESET is one of the worst products out there...They suggest 70 % of the anti-virus vendors are better than ESET SMART SECURITY.My modest opinion is ,that this is ridiculous...

I agree. Don't always have to trust these. One can use these tests as reference to some extent but for the most part what i used & experienced myself i trust that.

Yes, according to the overall ratings, Windows defender is better than ESET & Quick Heal is almost or slightly better than ESET too.

These results should be taken with a grain of salt. Check here : Why are Independant lab results unreliable? lab testing is lab testing minus the user computing habits/ personalized settings for safeguarding of his personal data.

Where does it say that? If you click on each product, you'll see the 95+% and the negatives are mostly based on Performance.

According to the Protection Test results 16 of the programs have better detection rates than ESET...Everybody can check it out...

Supposedly the reason for ESET result is due to being penalized for false positives, this is according to itman in Wilders.

As far as 0-day protection goes for Dec., 2015, WD's score was 90%. Eset's score was 98.3%. Comodo's was 100%. Appears both Eset and Comodo to name a few were penalized for false positives."
