Avast Offline Databases Update

I have Avast AV Pro.
I want to try other AV.

Can I copy "defs" folder of Avast & update on Avast reinstall?
If Yes, how to do that?

You can export/import your settings Under Settings window>General at the bottom.

Havent tried it but it should work.

You just need to turn self-protection off to avoid it being blocked.
