Avast remains a good security product. Can I regret without hardened mode, it suffers from a lack of proactive protection, a Trojan could exploit svchost.
Without this fix, Avast is a good product.

Really noticed a great improvement in detecting these last days. For most people, Avast is a good size, just need to improve a bit the deepscreen, but allied to common sense is very good protection. What bothers me a little and delay in submission (I do not know if they really look)

I am using Avast on my other notebook old (in my notebook main ESET of course). Really noticed a great improvement in detecting these last days. Avast need A LOT of improvement about ''Deep Screen'' as it seems to allow almost every threat. In my opinion, it is better to use Hardened Mode than Deep Screen

Avast Free and Premier are basically identical in terms of protection.

The only difference is that Avast Pro, Suite and Premier have the additional Manual Sandbox and Banking Mode to ensure your system remains safe from threats.
