I was just about to report (on forum.avast.com) a bug about 19.5.3092 when I noticed it's no more present in 19.5.3093. Cool. But I just want to ask a question: why is virtually NOBODY commenting on AVG's beta releases? Now that AVG and Avast are using the same engine and the same signatures, so that they're practically the same product with different UI (I'm not talking of the features present Premier/Ultimate, but only of Free and IS editions), I'd have expected AVG's userbase to be comparable to that of Avast's, but in fact:

Nobody seems to know how many people still use AVG.
Everyone seems to be rushing into Avast, although AVG offeres the same protection.
forum.avast.com only announces AVG's Betas, and NOBODY adds any comment whatsoever.
AVG doesn't have its own forum, so I expected its users to be active on forum.avast.com, but they're NOWHERE to be seen. WTF? I went back to AVG after many years of using other products, and I can tell that I prefer AVG’s GUI over Avast's, because it seems less cluttered in the free edition. I like AVG’s comparative lack of extra (read: unneeded) features, and I’ve only installed the “Computer” module, without “Web and E-mail”. To quote Mike Williams from TechRadar: «Unlike Avast, AVG AntiVirus Free doesn’t use a browser extension as a first line of internet defense, which means dangerous URLs aren’t highlighted in your search results. The core antivirus engine still detects and blocks web threats, though, and will also scan any downloads you make, so you’re still well protected.» But this is exactly what I want: to have the downloaded file scanned. I DON’T WANT to have any URL blocked, nor the search results classified! Let me visit whatever URL I want! It’s my computer and my browser. (Besides, generally entire websites are blocked, not just a file or a page on a site.) Same Mike William notes about AVG Free: «Avast has same engine but more features.» While reviewing Avast Free: «Uses many tricks to try to sell other Avast products.» So AVG is a better choice for people wanting a light antivirus and no nagging! And no, it’s not that intrusive and nagging anymore. Under Settings, General, Personal Privacy, uncheck all the boxes and you’re done. It also has a hardened mode (but without the choice between Moderate and Aggressive) taken from Avast. So: why is the love for AVG gone? Why are people giving all their love to Avast?
