AVG Identity Protection:
keeps your computer – and all the relevant information stored in it – safe from prying eyes.
AVG Identity Protection is like an additional layer of protection that sits on top of other security apps, like an antivirus or a firewall, and protects sensitive data like passwords and credit card numbers from theft – either by hackers or by Trojans which collect personal data.
The program is based on behavioral analysis, which means it analyzes all the programs currently running on your system, and makes sure they’re all working as they should be. The moment AVG Identity Protection detects any unexpected behavior, it shuts the program down to prevent any possible risks. All suspicious processes are immediately quarantined.
AVG Identity Protection adds more protection to your system. On the downside, we found it a bit lacking in configuration options with which to adjust the program’s risk threshold to your specific needs.
AVG Identity Protection works in collaboration with other security tools on your computer to protect sensitive data from online theft.

With a recent AVG update, the AVG Safe Search feature was upgraded to AVG Secure Search. The most notable change is that from now you will not see search verdict icons (green check marks) next to search results in your favorite search website.
This change does not reduce your on-line security in any way. When clicking on a dangerous or malicious link, you will be warned about this fact by AVG LinkScanner technology regardless of whether the link is in a search result, or on any webpage on the Internet.
AVG Firewall:
AVG Firewall works on the Behviour analysis of the Application.
Automatic the Firewall handles all network traffic automatically. You will only be asked what to do in the rare case that the Firewall neither knows the application that is trying to connect over the network, nor is it able to figure out whether the application is safe, based on its behavior.
Interactive use this mode if you want to fully control all network traffic to and from your computer. The Firewall will monitor it for you and notify you of each attempt to communicate or transfer data, enabling you to allow or block the attempt as you see fit. Recommended for advanced users only.
Block access to the Internet Internet connection is completely blocked, you cannot access the Internet and your local network, and nobody from outside can access your computer.
Turn Firewall protection off disabling Firewall will enable all network traffic to and from your computer.
AVG Email Protection:
We all know who we want to see in our inbox. We keep a look out for those unwelcome visitors who might be phishing or pulling a scam so you can focus on the visitors you do want to see.

Stops spammers and scammers getting to you. Reduces your risks of falling prey to online spam by scanning and checking all your emails for suspect content and code.
Avg Internet Security 2013 changed my point of view about AVG because last time when i used it. It was not much effective but now it is awesome.
I Tested 20 (latest link): 1 was dead. All were detected & Removed.
Really there is not at all slowdown with AVG Internet Security 2013. The same i used to test KIS today & even KIS left 3.
I tested 100 malware pack. AVG detected 88% of viruses.
I Think AVG Internet Security Should make UI more interactive.
