Excellent review!!

The main problem that I experienced with Avira is false positives.
If you like to develop you own small programs in C++ for example, Avira will detect everything you make as malware. It also detects many other harmless files in KBs as malware. I don't know why Avira doesn't like small files, I can take the exact files detected by Avira expand them to 1MB and they are no longer detected. But once I move them down to their compact size, Avira deletes them. It is too much work to have to keep adding exclusions to files that are still being worked on. The only way that can use Avira when writing small programs is to completely disable it.

I know many malware are in KBs but Avira should be able to detect the difference.
For this reason, Avira just don't work for me.

No other AV solution has giving me this problem.

Thanks.:D

Yes, I watched a video which made a code from a notepad (not EICAR) and Avira detects every time was saved.
