This is just what my wife needs for her new Galaxy phone's Android system, ..but before we can experience the "robust and trustworthy Avira technology" we must first locate her missing phone!

1. For Anti theft feature you require an account.
2. It is simple to configure.
3. NA
4. Since Avira is a known trustworthy co, it is a good option since it is light on resources.
5. Probably another half star if the UI was a bit better

Since it is light on your phone resources with an inbuilt anti theft feature I recommended a try for this SW. It has an on access scanning features which scans all software which one installs post its installation.

Since it is light on your phone resources with an inbuilt anti theft feature I recommended a try for this SW. It has an on access scanning features which scans all software which one installs post its installation.

I really was looking for something new to recommend. Avira free might be a good one for my niece but I see from GooglePlay that features are limited as compared to the others that I have seen(not tried). She is currently having her eyes set on Avast as it's her AV in Windows.

I have the AVG Pro for android http://www.avg.com/us-en/antivirus-for-android-pro currently installed (from a Yandex promo) and here are my screenshots. Have not experienced any issues with it from first time I used it. Have blocked suspicious sms and apk install.
