I know this is going to be a subjective thread, but let's see what users consider as their favorite free software on their system, ones that they consider important to them.

The winner will be decided in 2 PHASES.

This thread will be a NOMINATION THREAD.The 10 most nominated products from this thread will be considered for the POLL THREAD from Apr 21st to Apr 30th.

How many products can you nominate? : You can nominate atmost 3 products [only free]. It **cannot** be an Antivirus product. This is because most users tend to prefer an antivirus since this is a security forum. There has also been a separate thread for the same.

This thread will be closed on 20-04-2016

The WINNER will be declared on 1st May 2016.

You can also mention why you chose the product(s)........

You can also use this thread (Best Free Software's for New PC) for a hint about different categories of software's.

My own choices would be

1. Potplayer - this is an unbeatable media player that's also constantly improving every month! . It's also a big brother to KMplayer

2. MusicBee - this one is a full featured music manager that's even better than Winamp during its prime. More importantly why is it free?

3. SUMo - I have yet to see any viable replacement to this software that keeps all my other softwares upto date

My best free software:

1- CCleaner: despite of many optimization tools around, it is the best about reliability.
2- Faststone Image: an excellent images editor, perhaps better than some paid apps.
3 - Paragon Image Backup: one of the best backup engine, never problems, until the last bit.

My Free product votes

1) Sublime Notepad - I like the color coded formatting for HTML/CSS/Javascript and PHP, also you can group the tabs so that you can make your coding easier by comparing them.

2) WPS Office - The next alternative to Microsoft Office, no issues and pretty fine at all; even though certain issues occur about formatting breakage for .docx but the .doc is well optimized.

3) Virtualbox - The only VM which provides full functionality and open source.

f.lux - Benefits your eyes when using in the evening or low light at night.
PS4 Remote Play - I used PS3 Remote Play many years ago, it's great to see it's return for PS4 and wider support.
PushBullet - Never miss a notification, when your smartphone or tablet is out of reach.
