So: 1. Don't know why, my biggest problem was some webpages not loading properly, one of them being my client's web interface for a server app that uses a lot of java, used for medical imaging (communication with medical imaging devices/management etc). Rarely, Chrome would even crash with these pages. I often said to myself it has to be some development issue with the app itself, forcing Chrome to misbehave. But, why is it working with Cent just fine? Also, other pages that load strangely (most of the times they load just fine) but sometimes will load only text, stuff arranged oddly in the page, a few refreshes are needed to fix this (in chrome), and i am not talking about infected websites. As of yet, no such things happened with Cent. 2. Lots of settings in Cent are exposed in the "Settings" area, where in Chrome, you had to literally dig for many of them in chrome://about/ and from there.. well... pick an option 3. Missing or hidden features, like "Save to temp & Open", "mute", tab options like "2x click to close", mouse gestures, super drag, loading whatever in a new tab, new incognito tab without a new window etc; yes, you can use extensions, but it's a lot less annoying not to get alerted all the time by extension updates 4. Memory: i only ticked "purge memory after 5 mins" on one my slower PCs; don't know if this is the single reason, but memory is optimized and it works a lot faster than Chrome; also the "lazy session loading" is a nice addition In short, these are the differences i noticed. But most importantly, no more crashes! :)
