No release notes/changelogs as of now.

A new product update is available - version 1.0.16.1022

Changelog:
- Add "Full System Scan" entry in systray menu icon
- Change "Full Scan" into "Full Sweep" in Auto Scan section
- Refined Threat Control tab; Per-item actions are now displayed on mouse-over
- Fixed Logs button issues
- Fixed Explorer freeze at startup
- Fixed Multiple entries in Threat Control for the same blocked process
- Fixed Duplicate entry in Threat Control for an active infection
- Auto Scan and On-Demand Scan improvements
- Other fixes and internal improvements

I'd assume 'Full System Scan' and 'Full Sweep' perform the same tasks of scanning the whole system?

Mighty screenshot you have there, but Imgur do provide online photo editing. ;)

Im glad they finally implemented a full scan button, that was one of the things that bothered me was not able to start a scan manually.. still gonna wait until v2 or until almost all bugs are fixed

OK - fixed. Just got new laptop w/Windows 8, so learning curve in effect at the moment.
Yes, both are the same.

Wondering!
> My main concern is if may have a conflict with SpyShelter Premuim 8.4
> Or conflict with other software?

On my Laptop here is what I have on my Windows 8

> Emsisoft Anti-Malware
> Comodo Firewall Newest Update!
> SpyShelter Premuim 8.4
> SUPERAntiSyware Could turn off Realtime and make as Secondary Scanner
> Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Secondary Scanner

Looking for a layering effect of security. I have using this combination with-out any headaches for months!

Thanks!

Thinking about adding BitDefender Free to my Layering of Security? From above!

I don't think Bitdefender plays nicely with other security products.

On a side note, I don't think you need more AVs or other security.

After nuking CIS 6.2 from 2 PCs, I'm giving Bitdefender Antivirus Free Edition a whirl. I enjoy that fact that Deep Sweep (Full scan) resumes scanning after my laptop has been asleep for a few hours.

I installed Bitdefender Free on my new Windows 8 laptop, plays nicely with it.
On my desktop it was slow at first (I thought it might be the webfilter), so I contacted Bitdefender service rep and they said it might take an hour or two to get up to full speed, they were right. It's as fast now as Webroot, Avast. Only problem I've had was with the logs issue, but with the new update, that has been fixed.
The full scan took about 45 mins on my machine.

Also, Bit Defender Antivirus Free Edition today :D

How do you contact a Bit Defender Service Rep.,?:dodgy:

> Logs issue's, only on one PC, who can I contact?
> Any others problem that I may experience with BitDefender Antivirus Free?
> Please! Provide a link for a Bit Defender Service Rep.,?

Run great with SuperAntiSpyware which take care of low Cookies Threats.
Running SuperAntiSpyware as (Real Time) and not as a Secondary Scanner!

I am running the following:

> Bit Defender Antivirus Free Edition
> Comodo Firewall Free Edition
> SuperAntiSpyware Pro (Real Time)
> Malwarebtyes Anti-Malware as a (Secondary Scanner)
> Hitman Pro
> Malwarebtye Anti-Rootkit Beta
> BitDefender Safe Pay Browser
> AX 64 Time Machine

Looking forward to hearing back about the Bit Defender Service Rep.,?

I contact Bitdefender via email

Cookies aren't a threat, as long as you lock your PC when away.

Only on one my PC's! On a 86 Bits Windows 8 Problem with updating, I will wait and see if the PC straighten up in a little while! If not I will contact the Service Rep.,!

Cookies aren't a threat as long as you lock your PC when away.

Not sure of what your saying here > when you say lock your PC?
Sorry, I am just not sure about the above? But I understand about the
cookies part! But not lock your PC when away? Can you explain? Please!

Cookies are harmless files on your PC, and present no risk, except keeping your session active.

It's a common scenario at Apple Stores, where customers forget to log out of their Facebook sessions after uploading photos from Photo Booth.
Therefore other people have access to their logged in accounts.

Thank you! For explaining! "when you say lock your PC?" Simply mean
log out of E-mail and close the Browser. And on a Public PC make sure to sign out completely. And turn the PC off if possible.
