I know that the Bullguard has Bitdefender's AV engine so the realtime protection should be good

I thought this was only on-demand, but I heard somewhere that bitdefender is going to add realtime to the free version, is this true?

The BitDefender 2011 Free av. version has real-time protection. Currently it is not available in English.
