App Review Bitdefender vs. Ransomware (full test), F4zxx, McAlex,

It is advised to take all reviews with a grain of salt. In extreme cases some reviews use dramatization for entertainment purposes.

Not being fluent at all in Polish, would someone tell us what exactly happened in the review? I see Bitdefender caught a couple of things, but the rest is Greek to me.

Many of the programs lost with ransomware.

I checked Bitdefender.

I noticed that Active Virus Control removes the virus.

However, when you log out, the virus returns.

Helps to restart your computer.

Did restarting the computer get rid of the ransom-ware for good? Did you follow up with second opinion scans to make sure?

Bitdefender Active Virus Control removed Ransomware in Quarantine, after restarting your computer is clean.

Cool! I feel better, now, being a Bitdefender user on one of my machines. Thanks for the review!

Hello, Artemis!

Topic: Maybe you can do a follow-up video.

Everything was a little rush in this Ramsomware Video of BitDefender? Not Sure!

Thanks!

How about running this ransom ware through MSE and see if it reacts to it? Thanks.

Indeed, it's a great idea! I cannot do it myself at this time as I don't currently have time to set up a VM.

Could you test Emsisoft against a ransom please?

Ransomware behavior is literally something a polymorgraphic code attached so if a partial blocked occurred then may repair itself then execute properly to hostage a victim machine.

Also, Emsisoft has Direct Disk Scan! For better cleaning/removal!

Is it used for all types of scans (quick, scan , deep) and realtime or only on custom scans?

Nikos751: Let's say that quick, smart and deep scan have already default settings or maximize and custom scan are for user preferences.

Sorry, I do not understand your words, do you mean that direct disk access is or not used in quick, smart and deep scan? Custom scan has the option to choose if direct disk access is preferred.

I mean is, those 3 types of scans are already used from its settings while Custom scan is untick by default for Direct Disk Access.
