Bizarre Pop-up Ads Appearing

Ads only appear when I am using Google Chrome and when I click something, like a link or an image. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome, resetting Chrome, running a full scan with AVG.. I just don't know how to get rid of this. Today some dodgy fake version of Adobe Flash automatically downloaded.. getting weird now.
