Moved to: Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC (21H2 build 19044.5487)

No other changes except OS.

Win 10 LTSC is a breath of fresh air. UI doesn't lag, I don't have to be stuck on Nvidia drivers from year old, Explorer is flying like a Ferrari. No more default store apps/ads (added store for some apps that I needed).
Only thing I am missing so far is multi-tabs in explorer.

New Nvidia drivers wouldn't install on your Windows 11?
They would install fine but would lag the UI of entire OS. UAC prompt and snipping tool (using prtscn) would take few seconds to come up unless I install old drivers (may 2024) which fixes the UI lag stuff but causes my games to crash and freeze. I made a post on r/NVidia and their forum but got literally zero response.

I had already tried everything short of a clean install, which another guy I knew tried but didn't fix the issue for him. He is the same guy I mentioned earlier in post #202 (the good Samaritan from reddit) when I said the older driver fixed the issue. He was also in the same boat.

You don't miss something until it's gone. Things I missed while using Win 10: Tabs in explorer, showing remaining battery of BT headset w/o having to go inside settings, Settings UI, Alt+tab UI, New Paint app (never thought I would say this), OBS UI (while recording it shows yellow background in Previous versions of Windows but not in Win 11), etc.

I have to say Win 11 UI is an upgrade over Win 10, which I realized only after using Win 10 for few weeks.

But you get stability.

Back to Win 11 24H2 as Nvidia has fixed the UAC lag issue in latest drivers.

Thanks to Hasleo Backup it took 5-7 minutes to get back to Win 11 from win 10.
Didn't even get 24H2 on my thinkpad. I'm sticking with 23H2, 24H2 custom images are broken with Feb updates integrations esp. preview ones. Can't even boot in hyperV or VBox. Not sure about UAC lag on Windows 11 in general, new File explorer is buggier than Vista and Me editions. I switched to W10 UI using Switch Explorer. In more ways Win11 24H2 should be skipped.

I agree, 24H2 has been a mess for many people. I frequent r/Windows11 and it's never a boring day. Fortunately, I have been lucky as latest Nvidia driver fixed the slow UI, UAC lag issue and it was the only issue I had with Win 11.

Edit: @Vasudev You have linked the older Security config in your profile.
