Does it get even lower if the extension is disabled?

Overall browser CPU utilization is slightly higher (3-8% more I think, hard to judge with fluctuating values in Windows Task Manager) when loading page with the extension turned ON.

Realtime protection: Enabled "Script injection", Disabled 'Do not scan encrypted connections" in KSC. Not seeing the performance hit in web browsing anymore.

I like Malwarebytes Windows Firewall Control so far but there is one annoying thing about it. The first time you launch a program it will block it no matter if it auto allowed or blocked
(& then shown a notification). It's not a deal breaker but pretty annoying.

Edit: Context menu option to allow/block items in firewall is a solid pro.

Anyone know how to remove Kaspersky certificate? (screenshot is from Edge) I checked the windows certificate store I couldn't find it there, I also checked for any leftover Kaspersky drivers, there are none.

Yeah, Kaspersky doesn't usually remove the certificate, which I don't like.
Anyway, deleting is easy. Check this GIF. Look for the Kaspersky certificate here and delete it:

Nope, that's didn't remove the Kaspersky certificate, I am still seeing same certificate while browsing MT even after a reboot. Can I put this one back to where it was?

Just remove the cookie for the websites where you still see Kaspersky's certificate. Even better if you can remove all cookies as well as cache, since Kaspersky does HTTS scanning on most sites. Then the certificate should be gone from the browser.

I think he uses Edge. In my experience this happens on Chromium browsers only and not exclusive to Kaspersky. Can happen with ESET too, for example. Never had this issue on Firefox.

For me, I noticed this on Twitter only and removing cookies always fixed it. It seems like a browser related issue. Connections are still performed by browser using use the original website's certificate, but Chromium browsers show the wrong/previous one.
Good to know that it's solved.

So it only required me deleting the cookies or does that old certificate was the issue? Also that old certificate doesn't mention Kaspersky.

It happened for me with ESET too even when ESET deleted the certificate from Windows. So probably not a certificate related issue. I'm no expert so I'm just saying based on my experience. The screenshot you shared above shows Kaspersky's certificate.

Oops, I deleted the same certificate you were showing in that Gif (good thing I exported it before deleting it) Installing it back now. Btw there was no Kaspersky certificate in that list.

Sh*t. I should've been more clear with my comment. I just showed you that as an example of how to delete Kaspersky's certificate from the list. I thought you would see the Kaspersky certificate there.
Ok, now I remember one thing. Kaspersky with their 21.3 version never deleted certificate and Windows Security registration for me, but they fixed both with the newer 21.6 version. So the certificate was deleted when you uninstalled Kaspersky, and only deleting cookies was required.
You did a smart thing by backing up before deleting.

Trying out Malwarebytes Premium (next version, can't talk about it or share SS though, I think ), like it so far, pretty responsive UI compared to v4 also not CPU/RAM intensive.
