HI, HELP! I have the same issue. Windows 10. I have done all of the above, however the Zmma did not resolve the issue. I have no extensions, checked programs don't see any there that should not be there. Keep checking the Chrome settings and these are correct, no URL in shortcut icon. AdwCleaner could never complete it was looking for files that did not exist, thus no complete log file to upload. Uploaded the JRT log, Hitman pro log, Malware Bites Log, Zemma pre and Post fix logs. Have active Macafee and scan found no issues.

Chrome launches tries to go to Google
Then goes to
Code:

Then it re-directs itself to
Code:
Yahoo Search - Web Search
If I select the home button it will go to google but this is getting old.
HELP!!!!

Hello,

Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your desktop.

Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system. If you are not sure which version applies to your system download both of them and try to run them.
Only one of them will run on your system, that will be the right version.

  • Double-click to run it. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
  • Press Scan button.

  • It will make a log (FRST.txt) in the same directory the tool is run. Please attach it to your reply.
  • The first time the tool is run, it makes also another log (Addition.txt). Please attach it to your reply.
