There is a new AVIRA interface available and while it has sections for optimizers and whatnot, when you uninstall those components manually, the menus are there, but not much else gets in the way or annoys you. Have been running new AVIRA Free for few days and it's not really annoying. It just sits there and works in the background. They eradicated the moronic launcher thing and the interface now more resembles avast! or AVG looks than any AVIRA from before. They still haven't done anything to ancient settings panel, Luke Filewalker is still the same and malware detection popup is still straight out of Windows XP. But the main interface does look and feel quite nice. I've posted some screenshots and opinions on it here: https://rejzor.wordpress.com/2020/03/03/avira-antivirus-2020-got-new-interface/
