CCN-CERT releases NoMoreCry Tool to prevent the execution of the ransomware WannaCry

While is a great and necessary tool, we still have to watch out for round 2.

We are bound to see enhanced replicas of this attack in the following days, especially since the backdoors have already been created (Security Alert: WannaCry Leaves Exploited Computers Vulnerable to Round Two - Heimdal Security Blog).

I see a problem there: Am I right, that script just creates dummy files and sets permissions to block WannaCry's files deploy?

As I know, WannaCry gaints permissions to the all files at the beggining of the process of encryption. That's why I think that it won't work...
