Chrome/firefox auto tabs

I've seen other topics with similar issues so im sorry if this isnt created in the right way as im not really used to forums.
Chrome started opening tabs on its own, I then switched over to firefox but it still happens.

I do not see anything malicious on your computer.

Can you try to reset your router to factory settings?

Hmm okay thats weird.
Im not sure if I can, as im directly plugged in from the fiber outlet into the computer, and the only button I can find is a power button and no reset anywhere. No router is being used so I cant follow the steps.

if nothing can be found the only option I see myself having is to reinstall windows, because as it is right now I cant use any browser as it constantly keeps on making new tabs. I just hope it doesnt somehow stick through the reinstall.
