Hi all

Hi All,

With respect to advisory issued here, following is release candidate version of Comodo Cloud Antivirus and Internet Security Essentials available on test server that fix incompatibility with KB4022716 (OS Build 15063.447).

Please use following steps to test Comodo Cloud Antivirus(CCAV) together with Internet Security Essentials(ISE) via test server:

Testing Scenario - A: Fresh Installation

Step - 1A: Ensure you have Windows 10 with latest KB4022716 (OS Build 15063.447) or you can update to it after installing this release candidate.

Step - 2A: Have following entries in hosts (c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts) file that will allow to use Beta server to test release candidate:

Step - 3A: Download and install following Comodo Cloud Antivirus v1.12.421501.536 setup:

Size: 8.94 MB (9,381,744 bytes)
SHA-1: 236531b7284a1a172f917ec4eb835a6b42d1405c

Following are ISE Setup Details if you want to try directly:

Size: 3.91 MB (4,109,624 bytes)
SHA-1: 532661b48c82dcc1637bb54e8a90291d4eda8adf



When you install, it will bring with it latest Internet Security Essentials v1.2.421501.87 also allowing to test both CCAV and ISE.

Testing Scenario - B: Update

Step - 1B:
Ensure you have Windows 10 version prior to KB4022716 (OS Build 15063.447) and also you also have CCAV production version 533 or lower and also you have any version of Internet Security Essentials installed.

Step - 2B: Have following entries in hosts (c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts) file that will allow to use Beta server to test release candidate:

Step - 3B: Change system date to next date. Upon update you will get update prompt from CCAV within 10min of re-boot and also will get UAC alert in case UAC enabled to update Internet Security Essentials.

Step - 4B:
After you have ensured you have latest versions of both CCAV and ISE, update Windows to latest KB4022716 (OS Build 15063.447).

Areas to check:
- You must be able to launch and use all browsers (IE, Edge, Firefox, Chrome)
- You must be able to login to Windows after Windows is updated
