Following on from January’s initial reports regarding the secret development of a PlayStation-branded tablet computer, a fresh wave of thoroughly unsubstantiated rumour suggesting the same has today hit the Interwebs.
More pointedly, while Nikkei is currently running an interview with Sony boss Howard Stringer, in which he reveals the company’s intention to launch a debut tablet running Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) before the close of 2011, some industry watchers are claiming said device is being aimed at the gaming market.
