Unless you've loading high end textures in games you need SSD, otherwise HDD is fine. Get a PCIe SSD next time when you upgrade to the Zen master.

Well I understand that everyone suggest to have SSD, but for sure the price and availability of capacity became hindrance for anyone who build a rig.

Thus they steer instead to the cheaper ones of HDD but effective.

Indeed, SSD is not a must. But like someone here said, Once you have one, you won't go back ;)
