Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Gets Two Trailers, Major Details

The first actual trailers for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive have been released onto the web, alongside a batch of major details about the upcoming first-person shooter that will revive Valve's extremely successful franchise, including its maps, gameplay modes or how it will have cross-platform connectivity between the PC/Mac and PlayStation 3 versions.

One of the largest online shooter games ever released was Counter-Strike, which started as a mod for Valve's Half Life game, and immediately gained cult appeal through its simple graphics, polished gameplay and balanced maps, most of the times made by players themselves.

Now, after a pretty well-received Counter-Strike: Source, which was released quite a few years ago, Valve is getting ready to debut a new version of the iconic online shooter, in the form of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

I'm a fan of Counter Strike even before and now its have very nice graphics and improvements will come for Global Offensive.

i had a friend who was contacted to joined AAA team but he refused because he dont want be too far from his Girlfriend. and before i use to play in a internet shop with one ex-member of AAA team, the guy headshot me from a unbelievable distance, when i check his screen for the replay, i was not bigger than 3 pixel... devilish player...

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive gets new gameplay modes

Valve has announced that it is working with the creators of the popular Counter-Strike: Source mod Gun Game to help develop new gameplay modes for the upcoming multiplayer shooter Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. The game, which was announced earlier this summer, is a new version of the popular shooter series that started as a mod for Valve's first game Half-Life. In an email press release, Valve announced that the new gameplay modes in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive will be called Arsenal: Arms Race and Arsenal: Demolition.

I may consider buying this on Steam. I love Valve made games. That's why I'm addicted to Team Fortress 2 and hopefully it will play as good as it look's like it's gonna play. Also good to see Valve working with modders.
