I am not a tester, but could I suggest you one thing ? If you have the possibility try to not say yes to smartscreen and UAC, so we can see how much effective Windows defences are. It's obvious that the ransomware start encrypting if nothing try to stop it.
Because it's not obvious that if you click no, the ransomware stops
