Decided to sign up

Hello everyone. I've been lurking for a few weeks and reading the forum. I'm not a computer whiz or anything so I've been doing a lot of learning. I don't think I want to get too deep into technical stuff but I do want to have a fairly advanced knowledge of computers so that I can keep myself safe online and so that I don't have to go to a computer store to get help if at all possible.

I've browsed the internet reading other forums but I keep coming back to this one the most. I like it here. Thanks for reading this. Hope you have a good day.
