Leading personal computer maker Dell says flooding in Thailand is likely to tighten supplies of the all-important hard disk drives used in its computers.

One cannot deny that most suppliers are loving this, as it's huge profit for them as well as offering a plausible excuse in order to justify why the price is so high. I'm really in need of 1-2 more HDD as well as External HDD and NAS, but I for one will not be getting swiftly bent over.... (you know the rest!) and will just have to wait it out (feb/march) and see how prices come down as don't mind paying just a little over the odds to be fair.
