I am fairly new to Linux and have been trying a lot of different distros and I've come across the same issues in all of them regarding setting up an external display such as my HDTV. Ether the config I choose doesn't hold and it reverts on it's own or it goes blank or freaks out, I have installed my AMD Propriety drivers and still no good. Also video playback isn't as crisp as windows. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
