Just finished setting up my new laptop.

Eset is the main and only security product and it is running using the default settings.

I do regular system backups to two different external HDDs that I only connect when I need to run a backup.

I run Kerish Doctor full scan once a week.

I keep drivers and bios up-to-date using Dell Command Update Universal.

***List of apps I have installed***

1- Xyplorer
2- Cyberduck (to manage both Koofr and Filejump via WebDav)
3- Cryptomator
4- Winrar
5- Vivaldi
6- Floorp
7- Eset

I have downloaded EEK. Can't use MB as it is blocked here and I dont receive database updates.

The highest risk factor is the PDFs i download as I tend to download plenty. Any ideas or recommendations?

A friend gave me a lifetime promocode for Password Boss and I can say I am impressed. First, it allows you to choose where to store your vault (server location). Second, it supports adding custom fields which Dashlane lacks. Though I have a lifetime Dashlane susbscription, Password Boss seems better. I need to extensively test it before I migrate my passwords to it.

Ireland and Frankfurt are among the available severs. The default server is US.

Password Boss was acquired by Cyberfox. I could not find any 3rd party security audits.

Recent changes:

1- Migrated from Fastmail to Startmail.
2- Migrated from Dashlane to Password Boss.
3- Migrated from Endnote to Zotero.

Changes to my workshop (I prefer to call it that way).

1- Got Anker Zolo 140W Charger.
2- Got a new Baseus 240W type c cable with advanced E marker
3- Got a Ugreen Vertical Stand.
4- Got a spare Aukey Omnia P3 (prices go up too often in Egypt and products just disappear from the market).
5- Got a 65W 30000 mah Joyroom Powerbank (for emergencies "Gaza taught me well")

Now I need to replace my Ivanky type c hub with sth more reputable. I've considered TB4 docks but the prices are insane. I might get a Baseus Gleam.

I have to say that Ldnio products are of very high quality. Purchased many chargers and type c cable and the quality and protection are top-notch.

Yesterday, I got the Ldnio 240w premium cable and I am impressed. It is a 2-meter cable and it is very well-built.

Update:

This cable with my Aukey 67w charger charges my Nothing Phone 2 at 3% per min which is incredibly fast (while I am using my mobile)

Yesterday was a nightmare. All of a sudden thr battery indicator on my Nothing Phone lost its mind. It was showing 1% though the mobile was fully charger and it kept sending me notifications about low battery.

It seems this was reported by many users and Nothing released a hotfix. The release is gradual and I did not receive it. I could not wait, so I went to Nothing GitHub repository and downloaded the OTA and manually updated my phone.

Everything is back to normal now, but honestly Nothing OS 4 is a miserable update. So many issues.
