1. Not the best. CF is a good starting point, but Kaspersky is better and probably a handfull of the other pay products (Emsisoft, F-Secure, ESET, G-Data,McAfee, Norton, Bullguard etc). At least I can feel like it's possible to see the upside potential with Comodo now, even if development improvements come at a snail's pace. 2. Better in the following ways: -Firewall-it's OK, but it needs better logging and controls -Usability-CF looks good, but it could be more manageable and alerts could be better -Reliability-I pay attention to users who walk away from the program. Kind of understand why, since it does tend to break once in awhile. It does continue to protect, but CF needs more reliability 3. Yes anyone can use CF. One of the plusses. Not as easy to set up as the best suites though. 4. Dependent on Comodo's choices and on the cloud . The T-V-L is powerful in scope, but it's very large too. Still that's a good starting point for securing a PC. 5. Free is the reason why I use less than the best for now. idk but I will probably be paying this time next year depending on where Comodo is at that time... It's nice to be able to have one program that covers as much ground as Comodo Firewall. Not sure I would even recommend adding an a-v, but I use one so I guess that improves things to a degree but also complicates things. Avast is the best but Qihoo 360 Essentials is also good in the role with Comodo. I have been tempted to try the ai a-v from Korea (forget the name). Haven't yet looked into it, but the development curve seems to have been good in the early stages with that program. Maybe that would be good to pair with Comodo if it's not too heavy.
