Users of Avast Free Antivirus. In the Settings under Popups, you do not get to uncheck this option.

Show popup offers for other Avast products: sends notifications about others ways you can improve your protection. You can disable this option only if you use a paid version of Avast Antivirus.

However under Perfomance with Game Mode, you get to Disable Visual Interruptions which states:
Pauses all Avast pop-ups, notifications and scheduled scans while you're playing.

Now my question is, if you add your most commonly used software, for example, your web browser, does Game Mode override any Avast Offers pop-ups making them remain hidden?

Hi,

Game mode priortizes CPU focus on the selected application and mutes all notifications as well as pausing updates.

On top of that, if you were to add the Web Browser to Game Mode, you would lose security. Game mode prioritizes game traffic during gameplay. This means any TCP/IP data packs sent over the network or internet get prioritized, omitting lag. Avast does this by turning off our own WebShield while you play PC games online.

To answer your question, yes, once game mode is enabled, you won't get any popup notifications about anything.

i believe you can add any application to game mode, so you could do so for your web browser and you won't see any pop-ups;
