This month’s update introduces a new Removable Device Control feature aimed at managing and monitoring external devices connected to your device. This robust new functionality enables administrators to maintain a high level of security by controlling access to USB drives, external hard disks, and other removable media or peripheral hardwares that can pose a risk of malware infection or data leakage.

Removable Device Control is particularly valuable in environments where data security is highly important. It mitigates the risk of data breaches by restricting system access to authorized removable devices only. Additionally, it empowers administrators to swiftly address potential threats by blocking non-compliant devices, thereby maintaining adherence to the organization’s security protocols.

This new Removable Device Control feature sounds like a great addition for anyone concerned with data security. Being able to manage and monitor external devices connected to a system is crucial, especially in sensitive environments. Restricting access to only authorized devices and having the ability to block non-compliant ones will definitely help in preventing data breaches and malware infections. Looking forward to trying it out and seeing how it enhances our security protocols!

After the latest Emsisoft update, File Explorer started misbehaving and viewing files and folders takes forever. I should have contacted support, but I changed Emsisoft to MB.
