App Review Emsisoft Anti-Malware 6 tests by PCwebplus

There is a new video review of Emsisoft Anti-Malware 6 out there, produced by PCwebplus. With the file guard, surf protection and behavior blocker all three security layers had to prove their functionality versus 60 different malware samples.

The final detection rates of Emsisoft Anti-Malware:

Behavior Blocker with unknown malware – 100%
File Guard – 100%
Surf protection & File Guard – 100%
Behavior Blocker – 100%

Hi All,

Just out of interest, for those using Emsi Anti-Malware, do you use it together with Anti-Virus software, or without.

It seems to have fantastic detection rates, and seems to be an anti-malware and anti-virus combined.

@chigwells EAM is sufficient on it's own, i would not recommend using another AV alongside
I know some folk use EAM and MBAM pro combo though which seem to work together well.
I choose to run EAM with Comodo's Firewall and D+ (works sweet)
