I get this error when i try to update

Could not connect to the update server. Please check your internet connection and proxy settings

Updates have been fine on my works machine all day today, possible ISP DNS routing issues.
I suggest you try again later or raise ticket at Emsi's forums if this issue persists.

Have not had any problems updating today.In fact updated today with a required restart.Make sure under Settings>Updates>proxy settings that you dont have use proxy ticked
