Epic Games announced that their forums have been compromised by a hacker attack that has managed to gain unauthorized access to the names of users with email addresses and passwords, in addition to the stated date of birth when registering.
"We apologize for the inconvenience that has affected everyone.To better understand what happened and to prevent repetition in the future, we are working with a computer security company to identify the nature of the attack" said Epic Games "it is possible that the information stored or submitted by users have been read. Since this is a public forum, we do not collect financial information but you should be careful with suspicious emails."
