eset nod 7 vs eset smart security

whats the difference between these two products is it worth upgrading or is there a better security suite out there

The big diffrence is that smart security have firewall and the regular not. you don't have to upgrade becuase You can use another free firewall like comodo firewall or emsisoft online armor... they have more diffrence but this is the main... please check the photo I attached

Eset has a decent intelligent firewall. If your going to be running their AV, and want more then just windows firewall, might as well bump up to the whole package, and gain the parental control, anti theft and firewall, while still maintaining the lightness of Eset..

ESET NOD32 provides the same level of protection to Smart Security with minor differences, depending on user requirements.

Anti-Theft is new to ESET SS v7.
Prey Anti-Theft is a free, open-source alternative > http://preyproject.com (Pro versions are available). Recommended for laptops and tablets, and / or if you travel with devices.

Firewall
If you use Windows Vista, 7 or higher, then you should be able to use Windows Firewall with your AV, and if you're interested you can configure it. Look for a guide called Windows Firewall with Advanced Security, or there may be a guide somewhere here.

Anti-Spam
Not required if you only use web-mail (ie. gmail.com, outlook.com etc) - am I correct?

Higher then average detection rates, and like many others, i have an old love of Comodo Firewall, that being said, i am running Eset Smart Security on my system that im writing this from, needless to say, i have faith in their firewall..
