I have disabled Email & Spam protection...if I am not using Outlook or any email client then dont need the module enabled, right?

Yes, if you're not using any email client you can disable the module

In this case will we get that red mark on icon ,I did so i re-enabled .

I disabled Email & Spam & no red mark on icon.
