Every Android device now infringes Apple patent: Slide to unlock

Apple filed for the slide to unlock patent before the original iPhone was released, and just received confirmation of the patent. That puts every Android device ever made firmly in the infringing category, should Apple choose to get nasty.

Tbh i'm fed up with Apple Samsung nokia google all they ever do is fight about things they "invented/implemented" first.

Thats insane, they shouldnt be able to patent something like that, its a great idea and should be shared, not like half of android or apples sales are due to the slide to unlock screen

Yea, there's a town that i visit a lot and someone got a patent "Welcome to Parry Sound" so no company or the town itself couldn't say welcome, its ridiculous what they let people do these days

The biggest joke about all of this is how patents are allowed for these kind of things in the first place and granted!!!! If me or you, the ordinary folk filed one (if we had the money spare) am sure we would have more chance of platting p***! But these big multi million/billion £/$ companies can do as they like because of the ammount of financial power they hold.
