Emsisoft is a very good antivirus.
All URLs were blocked.
On the first pack, Emsisoft made a score of 100%.
On the second, Emsisoft din't detect some malware but blocked in the run by the Emsisoft Anti-Malware Network.
Unfortunately, Emsisoft is heavy.

Stars : 5/5 => Excellent

Awesome test once more Manzai....very well done!!!!!
Now according EIS 9......to be honest i dont see any difference from EAM. In your test EIS reacts exactly like EAM (web blocking, signatures, behavior blocking....and NO firewall alerts or anything like hips, which cause some malware to get through, exactly like EAM)
So i can not find a reason why prefer internet security instead of Antimalware.
Thank you for this review my friend
Keep on rockin' ;)

Thanks for the review, keep the good work.

Btw, Emsisoft for you is heavy on ram or system performance? I remember that you have considered EAM 9 to be "very light" ...

No emsi is not heavy... as a standard user, i dont see any slow down.... is true you may see 200mb of ram usage... but this is related to the bitdefender engine and signatures... when this is done(loading).. all files are send to the HDD inactive memory (pagefile.sys)

Hi Manzai ,it is a good test!
But why do you mean the Emsisoft is heavy is it?
I think it is become easier as online Amor + Anti-Malware!

thanks for the test! :)

In my VM, EIS is heavy but EAM is light.

ESET 7 or 8 beta vs Emsisoft 9? :D

Hard choice :D

ESET : light, good detection but bad HIPS ( wihout my rules)
Emsisoft : Good detection, EMsisoft Anti-malware Network is very good and good HIPS

Salutations,;)

Many thanks for the test!!!;)

Emsisoft has been missing mal-ware. And heavy on ram or system performance. For Example, below:

Comparing it to 360 Total Security!:) Emsisoft is falling behind! Wake up call!
http://malwaretips.com/threads/360-is-vs-360-ts-detection-tests.33024/#post-258288
Customer Service is not as helpful also, as in the past.:(

Also, you could add Online Armor to 360 Total Security!

You can use all 3
Emsisoft Emergency Kit:

Tiranium Cloud Scanner: bottom of page.

Qihoo 360 TS:

Kind regards,
:)

Just thinking out loud maybe, what is your opinion?;)
