Just change to uBlock Origin instead of AdblockPlus.
and for smooth scroll..you can enable it on chrome://flags

I would install atleast 1 on-demand scannner (Zemana Anti-Malware, Malwarebytes,...)
Install HTTPS Everywhere for chrome and replace Adblock Plus with Ublock Origin.

Last very important one install backup software (Macrium Reflect is good)

2 - Press Ctrl+F and search for "smooth" word

You will see the smooth scrolling option. Just enable it and restart the browser.

In Chrome 55.0.2883.21 x64 BETA https is not default ?

2 - Press Ctrl+F and search for "smooth" word

HTTPS Everywhere is different extension and very usefull. It encrypts your communications with websites.

I asked myself before I am using VPN, do I still need HTTPS Everywhere?"
and I said yes, because "does VPN ensure end-to-end encryption?" "Does VPN ensure a site’s authenticity and integrity? "
So I am using HTTPS Everywhere and it is my core extension on browsers.

You will live to regret not having a backup solution.
I use Macrium Reflect Home Premium.
They have a free solution too. I clone my windows drive.
judging by your name you may have a good amount of tunes
and some audio software, backing that up would save you from
future headaches

uBlock Origin uses a set of filters by default. You can also add your own filters.
There is very good element picker to create new hiding rules. You can also select many 3rd party filters on the settings.
uBlock Origin is what you need to block unwanted 3rd party things in browser. Must have!

Yes.
Adguard system wide filter "Adguard Desktop" is paid product and it is great and maybe the best opiton with tons of features
If you do not want to pay, you can also use Adguard extension on your browser for FREE.
