My personal experience:
I just installed it, so far, it works great for me. Very easy to handle, even comes localized, detects system language (Germany).
Pro upgrade comes at a one time fee of 6,99€. It is linked to your Google Account, so you can use it on multiple devices. I had to click on the purchase button after i bought it, to activate it on my other device (it did instantly recognize I own a license and did activate the Pro features).
The biggest deals in Pro version for me are the account colours (I do have 4 mail accounts from ancient times, different accounts had different pros - like attachment size, online storage,...), and especially the export / import function - one time setup of the mail accounts etc, share to another device, have it configured in seconds.
Also, with the purchase, you support the development of this app.

Coming from the free Outlook app (which did not work properly with my Arcor / Vodafone account both on Win11 as well as on mobile - it simply stopped receving messages) and having undeleteable and messages not being marked as read ghost messages (eM Client Android), after changing my Win11 devices to Betterbird, I was looking for something similar for mobile use. Gmail App wasn't comfortable to use for me.

Thanks for sharing your experience with FairEmail. It's great to hear that you're finding it easy to use and that the Pro version is providing useful features for you. Your feedback will be helpful for others considering this app. It's always good to support developers who prioritize privacy and open-source software.
