Is it possible to modify Firefox so it can have a Speed Dial like Opera, Maxthon browser? If yes, how? Thanks.

The new tab has that, doesn't it? Just set your Home Page to "about:newtab". If you need more than that, then it's with extensions, but I don't know of a good one.

It has it by default. clean your browser from toolbars.
