Advice Request Firefox will load every webm on site, ramhog

I often tend to read reddit and sometimes the whole site has alot videos/webms

The problem is when i scroll the whole site down, firefox keeps loading those webms/videos/gifs over and over and when im at the bottom of site i can see firefox taking like 4gb of memory

Meanwhile same thing with chrome, i peak somewhere at 800mb at max
How i can stop those webms from running whenever im not watching them?
Or set them to play only by clicking on them?

This time there were barely any webms, so it can get alot worse
It doesnt even purge the memory after i let it settle on bottom

Seems so, already ditched Firefox....edge is much better with same font rendering
