and how to allow permanent sync with microsoft to do only allowing some remote adresses and ports etc on svchost probably to to outlook.live.com?
i already tried using tracert but it didnt work and to be honest im afraid to allow svchost enabled internet bc simplewall gives a warning when activating it and im aware viruses can get advantage of svchost.
so, how to proceed?

no need to mess with svchost or firewall if the malware doesn't run in the first place👩🏼‍🦲
but I guess you need to Wireshark to trace addresses that needed to sync To Do then allow them😼

you meant i dont have to worry about svchost if the malware doesnt run/acess internet bc of firewall, so i can allow internet on svchost?

followed ur advice, thanks. i know nothing about wireshark, but i got a ip number of source and destination talking about microsoft on dns
so i thouhght it might be it

then i went to simplewall got the source and destination on a personalized rule like 192.168.75.2-192.168.75.130 and allowed
did it work ? no

when i allow svchost for a while then stop the sync keeps working but on wireshark only shows the same source and destination mentioned [or its something else that im missing completely bc im noob]

any tips?
