Free easy 1 click check PC security software to know everything, I use.

XueTr anti-virus and antirootkit: http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=fr&rurl=translate.google.com&sl=zh-CN&tl=en&u=http://www.xuetr.com/ - with NEW version v0.44 - you have 'Computer Examination' tab. After notch of 'Safe items won't be displayed', click on 'Generate examination report'. Then, afer 1 minute, you have in software window - detailled .txt report on all XueTr search possibilities (that are in all individual tabs), with MBR check at it's end. Daily use by me here .. I'm not paranoid, but cautious, wary ..

Radix (USEC Radix) v1.0.0.12: http://www.usec.at/rootkit.html - it has '1-click check' tab - with detailled check of all Radix searches .. and it shows after 30 seconds here 'No suspicious items were found' sentence in it's window (with details at the bottom of Radix). Perfect, no-brainer.

NVT NoVirusThanks Anti-Rootkit v1.2 (FREE EDITION): http://www.novirusthanks.org/product/novirusthanks-anti-rootkit/ - has 'Quick Report' first tab, and complete scan results in the window, after some seconds. Very cool.

Random’s System Information Tool or RSIT, 'a small and portable tool that is able to list files or folders created or modified in the last 1 to 3 months': from Raymond.cc: http://www.raymond.cc/blog/archives/2009/03/25/check-for-recently-created-or-modified-files-and-installed-software/ - better than HijackThis, with HijackThis results included.

Similar - I have these two:
ZHPDiag : http://www.premiumorange.com/zeb-help-process/zhpdiag.html , and
DDS from BleepingComputer.com, which is (too) not invasive diagnostic tool : http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/anti-virus/dds Detailled reports in Notepad (.txt) - it create 2 log files: DDS.txt and Attach.txt on your Desktop.

UVK (Ultra Virus Killer) last version v2.0.1.0, by CariFred.com: http://www.carifred.com/uvk/ - it has this cool 'Scan and create log' tab.
Quote:
'UVK allows users to detect and delete trojans, rootkits, malware and spyware from infected systems. It also includes lots of tools to repair windows after the disinfection.' - A powerful free tool for manual virus removal and system repair ..

'Welcome to visit the official site of System Repair Engineer (SREng) v2.84 for more information': http://www.kztechs.com/eng/index.html
'SREng is a tool to adjust, repair your system, and find unknown malwares'! -and click on Smart Scan tab ..

SecCheckUI v2.1.1039: SecCheck Version 2 GUI: by MyNetWatchman: http://www.mynetwatchman.com/tools/sc/ - for download GUI version like me, click on SecCheckUI DOS link.

And always this disclaimer: If you don't know what you are doing, don't do it.

Well if you would just want to do a simple pc check then MBAM, Hitman or SAS would be your best bet , these tools are designed mainly to clean an infected computer........ and even so there are some better alternatives on the market for cleaning a infected system :
Norton Power Eraser , TDSS Killer , OTL , Combofix , GMER ,The Avenger and so on.....
When do you use this tools ?

P

Plexx

I asked before but I will ask again to OP, wouldn't be better using NhsScan AntiRootkit instead of XueTr?

@Jack,
.. these tools I presented, are 'to know everything' with 1 click
- So as not to die dumb, I want to know all in one comprehensible text, but separately each 'field', eg. Browser add-ons, file associations, scheduled tasks, boot items, Kernel problems, Network problems, Startup, Services etc etc.

@biozfear,
You demand: 'wouldn't be better using NhsScan AntiRootkit instead of XueTr?'
- My response is: NO. NhsScan AntiRootkit - it's an old Vietnamese tool made in early 2009 which is not updated. So I do not trust nor need.
XueTr is great if you search the best: actively developed by linxer.

@AyeAyeCaptain,
Thank you, please use them and get your impressions here ..
